Celebrating a historic institution with a new look & digital presence

Miles College is a historically black college in Birmingham, Alabama, first established in 1898. The Miles team came to Digital Pulp looking to refresh a dated visual identity and renew a decade-old website that couldn’t even begin to translate the love and passion that Mileans feel for their alma mater.

This project touched every aspect of the Miles brand, from voice and tone to social media avatars. I served as art director and sole designer on all aspects of the visual rebrand and website redesign.
